Kudos News - Kudos Update

Since the release of our last game, Treasures of Ra, we have been busy on numerous projects and thought it was time we gave you a sneak preview of things to come.

Wu Hing II

Our very first game has been undergoing some big changes, whilst keeping the classic look and feel of the original Wu Hing: The Five Elements. Some of the new features include:

New game style, Monkey – a new game where you can only place your tiles next to your opponent's tiles.
New game style, Solitaire II – a freeform solitaire game where you try to get the highest score possible.
New "game type" option – four new options (Tactical, Blockade, Classic, & Swift) allow you to play with different hand sizes, decks and board configurations.
24 different game varieties - each of the 4 game types can be combined with any of the 6 game styles.
Effect Chains – multiple effects (creating, destroying, transforming) are now processed in a more logical order and also displayed in sequence allowing players to better understand the results of their moves.
Improvements to AI.
New improved menus.

Wu Hing II is due out next year. Anyone who purchased the original Wu Hing: The Five Elements will be entitled to a very special discount as a thank you for your custom and support.

RPG Projects

Kudos Games are also entering the realms of roleplaying games. After many years of enjoying tabletop roleplaying games, it was a natural choice for us to begin developing our own RPG projects. We can not reveal much at this time, but we are currently developing several exciting RPG projects.
